提起Passenger，很多人应该都会知道那首声名远扬的《Let Her Go》——并由那首歌认识了一个顶着已解散的乐队名字发布歌曲的音乐人——Mike Rosenberg(Passenger乐队的主唱兼词作)，而我要推荐的这首《Wicked Man's Rest》是出自Passenger的首张录音室专辑，彼时Andrew Phillips(Passenger乐队的曲作)还未曾离开，这张专辑正是由他们二人共同完成。Passenger的作品都具有非常明显的“英伦风”，我认为Mike Rosenberg的那一口纯正、有味道的英腔是使得这支乐队具有这个特点的一个主要因素。

歌曲解读
很多人都说《Wicked Man's Rest》歌词很像一首诗，其实它不仅像一首诗，且像一首“意识流”的诗。即使我把歌词完整地按照自己的理解翻译了一遍，我也不能完整、精确地说出来这首歌所要表达的内涵。但这首词里的很多处，都能让人有所“感同身受”，我想这也是很多听过这首歌的人会给予它很高评价的原因吧。
整首歌曲的氛围比较压抑，歌词的字里行间也不乏负面如同“怨恨”、“嫉妒”之类的词汇，但其实人性从来都不是只有光明、积极，否则我们也不会总觉得人生不易了。
