《The Other Side Of Paradise（天堂的另一面）》来自乐队Glass Animals（玻璃动物）一支风格很独特的专辑《How To Be A Human Being（如何做一个人）》（这个乐队的每张专辑都挺独特的）。
有人说Glass Animals的风格是神经质却又典雅，我觉得至少在这首《The Other Side Of Paradise》中的确如此。
歌词有些意识流的味道，支离破碎地讲了一个悲剧故事——一对恋人，男孩为了寻梦离开了女孩，后遇见了另一个女孩；女孩难以接受，杀了男孩后自尽。
歌词中并没有体现出任何的观点或思想，只是以女孩的视角记录下整个故事和一些心境。
歌曲的“神经质”同时体现在编曲和节奏中，比如当歌词描述在女孩举枪自戕后,“My body's looking wrong”，旋律也同时突然失去了原来的节奏，并不断重复这一句歌词，让听众意会到一种“错乱”和“麻木”。
